Editorial Intern
Joby Jung is an editorial intern for GovCIO Media and Research, having joined the team in June 2026. He is currently a student at the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where he pursues a double major in Public Policy and Economics.
Prior to joining GovCIO, Joby served as a staff writer on the sports desk of the Cavalier Daily, UVA’s student-led newspaper. He has also contributed to the University of Virginia Journal of Law and Politics, where he explored the intersection of policy, law, and public discourse.
Outside the newsroom, Joby serves in an executive role within Phi Alpha Delta, a professional pre-law fraternity. In his free time, he can be found watching the Nationals, playing basketball, or exploring new food spots with friends.
