Protecting the critical data that enables the Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) to maintain its information advantage is at the core of the agency’s mission.
At DoDIIS in Omaha, DIA CISO Tim Sydnor and Senior Technical Advisor Stephen Kensinger told GovCIO Media & Research that the agency needs data to have integrity and accuracy for it to be actionable to DIA’s mission.
Sydnor and Kensinger also discussed how DIA works with other intelligence community and Defense Department elements, how artificial intelligence is being used at DIA and how the agency is hiring, training and retaining a cybersecurity workforce.
