Federal Leaders Receive CyberScape Flywheel Awards from GovCIO Media & Research
Five federal cyber leaders were presented with CyberScape Flywheel Awards in recognition of their contributions to cybersecurity.

Bethesda, MD. – GovCIO Media & Research, hosted its annual CyberScape Summit on April 3 in Bethesda. Federal cybersecurity leaders were presented with Flywheel Awards at the event, celebrating their pivotal contributions and influence to protecting vital government systems and programs.
“These awards underscore the vital role innovation plays in driving progress across federal technology,” said President Michael Hoffman. “At our annual CyberScape Summit, we’re proud to bring this dynamic community together, forge meaningful connections and honor the groundbreaking contributions of cyber leaders in government.”
The awards presentation featured five categories: Cybersecurity Rising Star, Cyber Defender, Zero Trust Advocate, Cyber Leader and CISO of the Year.
Among those recognized were leaders from the Department of the Energy (DOE), FBI, Department of Interior (DOI) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The winners were:
Cybersecurity Rising Star:
- Jennifer Li, Senior Policy Advisor, CISA
Cyber Defender:
- Cynthia Kaiser, Deputy Assistant Director, FBI Cyber Division
Zero Trust Advocate:
- Lou Eichenbaum, Acting Deputy CIO, DOI
Cyber Leader:
- Paul Loeffler, Portfolio Management Section Chief for CDM Program and Acting Branch Chief for CSSO, CISA
CISO of the Year:
- Paul Selby, CISO, DOE
