Federal Leaders Receive Federal IT Efficiency Flywheel Awards from GovCIO Media & Research
Five federal IT leaders received Flywheel Awards for driving innovation and modernizing technology at the Federal IT Efficiency Summit.

Tysons, VA. – GovCIO Media & Research, hosted its Federal IT Efficiency Summit on July 10 in Tysons. Federal leaders were presented with Flywheel Awards at the event, celebrating their pivotal contributions and influence to protecting vital government systems and programs.
“These awards highlight the essential impact innovation has in advancing federal technology,” said GovCIO Media & Research President Michael Hoffman. “At our Federal IT Efficiency Summit, we’re honored to bring this dynamic community together, foster valuable collaborations and celebrate the visionary achievements of government IT leaders.”
The awards presentation featured five categories: Rising Star, Digital Transformer, Change Driver, Workforce Enabler, and Innovation Champion.
Among those recognized were leaders from the Department of Justice (DOJ), General Services Administration (GSA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General (HUD OIG). The winners were:
Rising Star:
- Morgan Zimmerman, Artificial Intelligence Policy Analyst, OMB
Digital Transformer:
- Victoria Jolicoeur, Program Manager, Discretionary Programs, Office for Victims of Crime, DOJ
Change Driver:
- Nadeem Ahmad, CTO, HUD OIG
Workforce Enabler:
- Becky Lindstrom, Director, Office of Benefits Automation, VBA
Innovation Champion:
- Pete Waterman, Director, FEDRAMP, GSA
