Share

Bob Sholtis, Former CIO, Marine Corps Forces Pacific

The Marine Corps is tackling a shifting operating environment in the Indo-Pacific region by integrating more emerging technologies into operations to strengthen mission readiness and modernize command and control.

Bob Sholtis, former CIO at Marine Corps Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC), joined us at TechNet Indo-Pacific to explore the progress the service has made over the past year, including how cooperative research and development agreements (CRADA) and new approaches to industry engagement are helping bridge the gap between experimentation and deployment.

He also discussed evolving mission requirements, emerging challenges in the Indo-Pacific operating environment and what’s next for innovation leadership as MARFORPAC continues its modernization efforts.
