Cancer HealthCast: NCI Program Unlocks Emerging Proteomic Data to Advance Precision Medicine

Researchers say sharing molecular cancer research data can expand cancer treatment and care.
Proteomics is an emerging field in cancer care and research. The National Cancer Institute’s Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) aims to get to the heart of cancer by studying its molecular basis across different cancers. The group believes expanding open-source resources and other data can lead to new treatments in cancer and expand precision medicine.
