Nominations Open for the 2025 Federal IT Efficiency Flywheel Awards

Fairfax, Va.GovCIO Media & Research, a leading federal technology media company, a leading federal technology media company, opened the Flywheel Award nominations for the 2025 Federal IT Efficiency Summit.

The Flywheel Awards will be presented on July 17 in Tysons, Virginia, at the Federal IT Efficiency Summit. The awards recognize the key accomplishments of federal employees in programs that transform and innovate federal technology. The entry deadline is May 9 and finalists will be announced on May 23.   

“The Flywheel Awards embody what it means to be a transformer in federal IT, and it is our goal to continuously recognize these leaders,” said Michael Hoffman, president, GovCIO Media & Research.  “At the Federal IT Efficiency Summit, we are proud to spotlight the individuals and programs setting new standards for innovation and progress in government technology.”

The Federal IT Efficiency Flywheel Awards categories include:

  • Rising Star
  • Digital Transformer
  • Innovation Champion
  • Change Driver
  • Workforce Enabler

Nominees must be federal government individuals whose achievements took place between April 2024 and April 2025. The entry deadline is May 9, 2025 and the finalists will be announced on May 23, 2025.
