The health sector faces many challenges that technology has the potential to alleviate including workforce burden, staffing shortages, cybersecurity threats and data management struggles. Smart uses of artificial intelligence and virtual care can provide solutions to those challenges, according to NTT DATA Chief Nursing Informatics Officer Heather Hudnall at the HIMSS conference in Orlando, Florida.
