GovCIO Media & Research has opened nominations for the 2026 Health IT Summit Flywheel Leadership Award, celebrating federal health IT leaders driving innovation and advancing mission‑focused modernization across government.

Fairfax, Va. – GovCIO Media & Research, a leading federal technology media organization, announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 Health IT Summit Flywheel Leadership Award.
The Flywheel Leadership Award celebrates federal health IT leaders who are advancing innovation and strengthening mission‑critical initiatives across government. These honorees demonstrate vision, collaboration, and a commitment to elevating the nation’s health technology landscape. Their leadership drives meaningful progress and supports improved outcomes across federal health agencies.
This award is part of the broader Flywheel Awards program and will again follow a community‑driven nomination and voting process. Nominations officially open June 1, with entries accepted through June 26. GovCIO Media & Research will announce 10 finalists on July 6, launching the public voting period. Voting will run from July 6 to July 17. Once voting concludes, the top three winners will be selected and honored live at the 2026 Health IT Summit on September 2 in Washington, D.C.
