Susan K. Gregurick, Ph.D., was appointed Associate Director for Data Science and Director of the Office of Data Science Strategy (ODSS) at the National Institutes of Health on Sept. 16, 2019. Under Dr. Gregurick’s leadership, the ODSS leads the implementation of the NIH Strategic Plan for Data Science through scientific, technical, and operational collaboration with the institutes, centers, and offices that comprise NIH. Dr. Gregurick was instrumental in the creation of the ODSS in 2018 and served as a senior advisor to the office until being named to her current position.

Dr. Gregurick was previously the Division Director for Biophysics, Biomedical Technology, and Computational Biosciences at the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. Prior to joining the NIH in 2013, Dr. Gregurick was a program director in the Office of Biological and Environmental Research at the Department of Energy.

Before beginning a career of government service, Dr. Gregurick was a professor of computational chemistry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her research interests included dynamics of large biological macromolecules, and her areas of expertise are computational biology, high performance computing, neutron scattering and bioinformatics.

Dr. Gregurick received her undergraduate degree in chemistry and mathematics from the University of Michigan and her Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the University of Maryland.

Trish Janke is a Section Chief with FBI Information Technology Applications and Data Division (ITADD), where she oversees the Enterprise Applications Database and Services Section (EADSS).

Trish served as the Acting Section Chief of EADSS from June to December 2024.  In December 2024, Ms. Jankewas selected as the Section Chief of EADSS.  She has oversight of five units responsible for the operations, maintenance, and replacement technology services of over 75 enterprise applications and databases.

Trish entered the FBI as an Intelligence Analyst in 2006. She was assigned to the Kansas City Field Office (FO), were she worked as a tactical and strategic analyst on criminal and national security programs. In 2012, Ms. Janke was promoted to Supervisory Intelligence Analyst, where she led a team of intelligence personnel mitigating criminal threats and later serving as the Intelligence Program Coordinator.

In February 2016, Ms. Janke was promoted to Senior Supervisory Intelligence Analyst in the Kansas City, where she led the Division Intelligence and Foreign Language programs.

Ms. Janke served as the Acting Section Chief in the Criminal Investigative Division and the Directorate of Intelligence.

In January 2022, Trish accompanied her agent husband to the Houston FO, where she served as one of the FBI’s first Private Sector Intelligence Program Coordinator.  Her role within this position was to cultivate and enhance working relationships with private sector entities, to include Chief Information Security Officers and Chief Security Officers.

Ms. Janke has a Masters in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Central Missouri and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Kansas.

Campbell Palmer is the Vice President of Technology Solutions Support for Lumen Public Sector. With 26 years of industry experience, Mr. Palmer leads Public Sector’s solutions engineers, architects, and associates supporting Federal, State & Local, and education channels. He is responsible for the technical development and delivery support of complex Lumen services through standard open market opportunities, the GSA EIS contract, and various statewide contracts to deliver service to Lumen customers.

Mr. Palmer has extensive experience in network engineering, design, managed networking, and security solutions. He leads Public Sector’s solutions engineering, architecture, and managed services organizations, overseeing both the design and operational support of customer networks. His managed services team is responsible for customer device management, advanced technical support including offering recommendations for operational modifications to improve stability and performance, proactive notification of network and security events, and the integration of enhanced security capabilities across all Public Sector customers. Together, his teams partner closely with one another and Lumen customers to deliver tailored, resilient, and secure solutions that leverage Lumen’s core network services and innovative network platforms.

Mr. Palmer has held various leadership roles within Lumen’s public sector organization since 2008. His primary focus as a leader is to continually bolster the engineering organization’s technical skillset and proficiency, while incorporating best-of-breed industry technologies into Lumen’s portfolio. Mr. Palmer and his team were responsible for the technical solutions for awards under the EIS contract, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Social Security Administration, Department of Interior, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Agriculture, and multiple DoD contracts, including Indo-Pacific Transport Services.

Prior to joining Lumen, Mr. Palmer was a network engineer at Verizon, spending 8 years working with medium and large enterprise and government customers within Verizon to assist with the development of reporting and network monitoring systems for dedicated network operations centers as well as sales engineering.

Mr. Palmer is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Science degree and is currently enrolled at UVA’s Darden School of Business, MBA class of 2026. He is married to Emma Palmer, has three children, is an avid pickleball player and golfer, and lives in Falls Church, VA and loves to spend time skiing, boating, and hiking at Deep Creek Lake, MD.
