The health care industry is prioritizing equity, emerging technology and interoperability across systems. Agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services are working on various frameworks for these areas, such as health equity by design, U.S. Core of Data Interoperability (USCDI) standards and new White House-led directives in artificial intelligence.
