Nominations are open for the May 20 Federal IT Efficiency Summit’s Flywheel Awards, honoring leaders advancing government IT innovation.

Fairfax, Va. – GovCIO Media & Research, a leading federal technology media company, opened the Flywheel Award nominations for the 2026 Federal IT Efficiency Summit.
The Flywheel Awards will be presented on May 20 in Reston, Viriginia, during the Federal IT Efficiency Summit. These awards honor federal employees whose programs drive innovation and advance technology across the government. Nominations are due by March 20, and finalists will be announced on April 3.

Nominees must be federal government individuals whose achievements took place within the last 12 months. The entry deadline is March 20, 2026 and the finalists will be announced on April 3, 2026.
