TechNet Indo-Pacific: DISA Advances Operational Edge Computing Capability
Matt Quinn, Joint Operational Edge Product Owner, DISA J9 Hosting and Compute
DISA has been seeing a lot of excitement across Defense Department partners around its Joint Operational Edge (JOE) commercial cloud capability. Its Product Owner Matt Quinn from J9 Hosting and Compute joined us at AFCEA TechNet Indo-Pacific in Honolulu to discuss JOE’s progress in the year since it went live.
Quinn discussed lessons learned as DISA extends the cloud beyond the continental United States to the operational edge. He also outlined what considerations the agency will make moving into the next year amid other cloud computing capabilities it is providing to the military services.
