Nominations Open for 2024 Health IT Flywheel Awards

The Flywheel Award nominations are open for the Health IT Summit, recognizing key federal community leaders’ contributions within the health IT space.

Fairfax, VA.GovCIO Media & Research, a leading federal technology media company, announced this week that the Flywheel Award nominations are open for the annual Health IT Summit.  

The Flywheel Awards will be presented at the upcoming Health IT Summit on September 19 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center and will recognize key health IT federal leaders’ achievements and contributions. The entry deadline is July 12 and finalists will be announced on July 26. 

“The Flywheel Awards embody what it means to be a transformer in health IT, and it is our goal to continuously recognize these leaders,” said Amy Kluber, Editor-in-Chief. “During the Health IT Summit, the Awards will recognize the accomplishments made by federal employees and the programs that they work on that transform and innovate federal technology.” 

The Health IT Flywheel Award categories include: 

  • Digital Transformer 
  • Innovation Champions 
  • Health Equity Advocates 
  • Interoperability Leader 
  • Rising Star 

Nominees must be federal IT employees and submission achievements must be from January 2024 to present. Entries that have won past Flywheel Awards are eligible for nomination. 

Nominations for the Defense IT Summit Flywheel Awards are open until July 12. Submit nominations  here.
