Cloud
Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of IT resources — including applications and data centers — online. Instead of owning and maintaining agency IT infrastructure on site, employees can access technology services from a cloud provider. This frees federal agencies from the complexities of setup, maintenance and upgrades, allowing tech leaders to focus on mission delivery. Some agencies prefer hybrid cloud infrastructure for reasons like security considerations and workload portability.
