According to the office, Wingo’s government experience includes nearly eight years as a cybersecurity professor at NDU, counsel to the Senate Committee on Science, Commerce & Transportation, special counsel to the General Counsel of the Federal Communications Commission and as a U.S. Navy SEAL.

He also worked in industry as senior policy counsel at Google. He is a graduate of Yale Law School and the U.S. Naval Academy.

Wingo will step into the job that was previously held by Camille Stewart Gloster, who left the post earlier this year.
