DIU Brings New Mindset to Defense Technology

DIU Cyber Portfolio Deputy Director Andrew Hong spoke more while at AFCEA TechNet Indo-Pacific in Honolulu about some of the developments underway to bring a different mindset to the defense mission.
He also shares how technologies that proliferate in the commercial world would help the department address its data and cybersecurity priorities. This includes addressing misconceptions with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence that have a lot of promise in the region.
