A Look at Federal Zero Trust Transformation

As a Field CTO, Patrick Perry is responsible for assisting global public sector organizations, of all types and sizes, to align the transformational value proposition of Zero Trust to their organizational needs and information technology landscape.

Before rejoining Zscaler, Patrick served as the U.S. Army CZTO/CXO charged with driving transformational change across the Army in order to operationalize the Zero Trust concepts, while continuously balancing security and operations to deliver the best possible experience to the warfighters.

Previously, Patrick served in the Army, where he retired as a Signal Corps Chief Warrant Officer Four after nearly 22 years of service. Working at all echelons with over 2/3rds of his career in Special Operations, he led technology advancements from small team to theater capabilities with over 9 deployments to Combat Theaters.

Patrick holds degrees from University of Oklahoma and University of Maryland University College, as well as industry certifications including 2 x CISCO Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) and the CISSP. He is married to Kristy Perry, a career Army Signal Officer currently serving on active duty, and they have five children.
